We are new to this internet business, but have been
producing these unique handmade birth announcements for
over two years. We started out making them for friends
and family and as we began to think about expanding our
business, we decided to try using the internet and create
a website of our own to showcase our birth announcements.
Our website is new - we put our first homepage up in
April 1999. It's a work in progress and we're updating it
now daily. Please be patient and if you're interested in
a particular area that is still labeled, "under
construction", email us and ask us directly about
the products or information, we can likely provide the
information to you directly. Or, you can bookmark our
site and come back periodically to check on our progress.
Daisydesigns.com was started by two women, family
members, one located in New York City and the other in Nevada. One does the graphics, writes most
of the content, and the production for the announcements
themselves. The other does the programming (she's self
taught!) and in her spare time does the cross-stitch
framed announcements.
All of our other offerings are made by artist's, fabric
designers and experienced quilters from across the US.
Most of our products are handmade, hand sewn and hand
quilted. We use high quality materials in all of our
products, ensuring that our products will last for
generations -- these are truly heirloom keepsakes.
